This site doubles up as a tutorial on setting up a home web server, and an experimental place for a content management system (CMS script) that I am developing.
In fact, this site is hosted from a laptop in my home office! It's so cool to host your websites from home and have total control over the server. So I hope that I can help you to set up your own home server, and understand the technical aspects in an easy way.
At first I will cover using the hugely popular Apache web server, and later NGINX which is an exciting modern web server that high-traffic sites are using now.
I am interested in setting up light-weight server solutions that don't need heavy computer power to function.
